What the technician checks

Box temperature against the thermostat setting, and product temperature separately.
Supply voltage and compressor amp draw measured against the nameplate.
Refrigerant charge, head pressure against ambient, superheat and sub-cooling.
Coil defrost heaters, the drain pan heater and the drain line heater.
Defrost termination and fan-delay controls, and the defrost timer settings.
Suction line insulation, and every service valve capped after gauges come off.
Door closure, hardware and gaskets.

Findings go on the work order, with measured values, not a tick box.

We are an authorised service agent for a number of the lines we carry. Send the model and serial and we will tell you whether the repair is covered before the visit.
