What the technician checks

Box temperature against the thermostat setting, and product temperature separately.
Supply voltage and compressor amp draw measured against the nameplate.
Refrigerant charge, suction and discharge pressures.
Evaporator and condenser coils, and the defrost cycle if it is iced.
Condensate drain line and pan.
Door closure, gaskets, sweep and hinges, since a door fault looks exactly like a refrigeration fault on the temperature log.

Findings go on the work order, with measured values, not a tick box.

We are an authorised service agent for a number of the lines we carry. Send the model and serial and we will tell you whether the repair is covered before the visit.
